Can be pulled out but will definitely have to be smoothed sanded and painted.

How much?
Thanks in advance

No idea.
>>
>>14208043
I was in a wreck, just waiting for someone to come out and inspect the car
>>
>>14208043
depends what OP's excess is. And it may fuck him up in the future if he loses his rating one.
>>
>>14208053
Everything is crazy expensive on cars but by some divine grace it looks like you didn't damage your bumper cover or your door so my guess is it'll be around $700 to repair "right" at a shop approved by your insurance or like $250 by Mexicans who may not do it perfectly (texture/color somewhat off)
>>
>>14208053
What exactly happened, if you don't mind sharing?
>>
>>14208082
>people on /o/ thinking they know anything about bodywork

first, those dents can't be pulled or popped, the panel will have to be replaced

that rear quarter can only be cut off, and a new one welded back in place. easily 2-3 thousand worth of damage from that pic
>>
>>14208104
I was thinking more like 4 to 5k worth of damage.
>>
>>14208095
>>14208095
So I was pulling out of 7/11 and out of nowhere a small SUV hits me. I'm the orange one.
>>
>>14208031

Maybe I'm tired, but that looks like suspension damage too. That wheel isn't right...
>>
>>14208104
I drove the car for 20 miles after the accident.
>>
Probably totaled desu. Mazda6 is worth what 5k in excellent condition?
>>
>>14208178
>>14208178
I got mine for a bit less and it had 94,500 miles on the odometer
>>
>>14208149
also possible

>>14208171
has nothing to do with the severity of the damage, it has to do with WHERE the damage is. That panel can't be repaired. You have multi-fold dents, and dents across body creases.

The only way to fix that is to cut that entire rear quarter panel off and weld a new panel in, then repaint the entire back quarter of the car.

want to hear the sick joke? that will be considered frame damage, and it will show up on the history report if your insurance fixes the car. you would be better off hoping they total it
>>
>>14208156
so you failed to yield?
>>
>>14208211
That's what it sounds like to me, on a road that long an SUV just doesn't come "out of nowhere"
>>
>>14208211
It was early in the morning and they didn't have there lights on
>>
>>14208201
This guy has it. As fucked up as it sounds, any repair to that rear panel would be classed as frame damage

To be honest, you probably totalled the car OP

>>14208225
did cops shows up? did you get an accident report?
>>
>>14208232
I had to call the cops since the passenger of the SUV got in my face.

No accident report.
>>
>>14208244
.....you didn't have the cops write an accident report?

Because even if the other SUV didn't have lights, it's about 90% chance you will be found at fault for failing to yield, as the SUV has the right of way, lights on or not.

A police report/accident report listing mitigating circumstances would have helped you a lot because the other driver can just lie and tell his insurance company he had his lights on
>>
>>14208244
No accident report.. Enjoy driving it around like that for months on end waiting for the insurance company to finish their "investigation". If you get it to a shop don't get a rental, you're probably partially at fault. Get the damage estimate from the adjuster, get the check, go buy another one.
>>
>>14208264
I only for a collision report with the other driver's in insurance info
>>
>>14208159
The axle looks fucked.
>>
What's your insurance coverage, OP? Just liability or collision as well?

If your insurance looks at it they will total the car most likely (unless it is extremely low miles and in perfect condition or something). That panel can't be cheaply replaced as it's part of the roof. Pulling/bondoing/smoothing could be done and make it look halfway decent, but the finished product would be far below insurance company standards - their estimate will be for replacing the panel with new, and it will be higher than the value of the car.
>>
>>14208305
without an actual accident report where the police give an 'at fault' opinion, it's his word against yours, and you pulled out in front of a car that had the right of way......
>>
>>14208319
>>14208319
Liability
>>
>>14208333
He said in his opinion it was my fault.
>>
>>14208338
duuuuuuuude...you are so fucked
>>
>>14208313
The other wheel looks good.
>>
>>14208338
Then you are stuck with the car like it is. No one's going to total it, but you're not going to get any cash to fix it either. So long as it still drives a straight line there's no reason not to keep driving it. Although that door might leak now, I'd drive it through an automatic car wash to find out.

On the bright side, if you pay out of pocket to get it fixed (a cheep maaco job or something), I don't see why anything would show up on a carfax. No insurance claim, no police report, it's like it never happened.

>>14208313
Hard to tell with the bodyside being all bent out of shape. Nothing good to compare the wheel against. Looks to me that the wheel is still straight but the fender is all out of whack. He might be to just get a 4-wheel alignment from a tire shop and call it good.

I would just replace your fugged rear suspension parts, make sure that wheel sits straight, and use the good 'ol automotive hammer to try to seal up the door. But I don't drive newish cars and I definitely don't specialize in body work.
