i looked at both when i was looking earlier in the year (UK). Went for the E92 M3 in the end (2011 with competition pack), mainly because although the AMG sounds immense, the M3 looks better I think. Sort of wish i had gone with an RS5 though. I did test drive one but it was another £10k

Got the exhaust on the e92 modified now so it roars... Love that V8 :D

CTSs suck anon. All GMs suck. If you don't get it thats cool but no one who has any money and sense buys GM. While my experiences are anecdotal you can't argue with sales figures. There is a quality to a BMW or Benz that you just don't feel when sitting in another marque. If they weren't shit then german buyers would flock to them.
