How is it restoring an aero mustang? I feel like there is way more replaments parts for them compared to four eye'd mustangs. Some parts for four eye'd mustangs are a fucking bitch to get and don't even get me started on some of the Capri specific parts. Fucking too me for fucking ever to find a Capri bulge scoop.

It's a Mercury, and when they were selling these back in the 70's and early 80's Mercury's slogan was " The sign of a cat," and they put that cat on a lot of different cars. I wanted something that looked stock and Capri's came with ten hole wheels and cougar caps from the factory.

The wheels? I'd rather spend money on other areas of the car first before I go with some rims. Also the only other sets I had were some trx rims that cost $1800 to put tires on and some disgusting cobras.

I just bought mine right before Christmas and the guy I bought it from had no records at all on the work the guy before him had done so as far as what is obvious so far

It definitely has some big ass cam in it too you can hear it in there at idle. I should really record the exhaust note because it's sexy as fuck. One thing it doesn't have is a T5, it's got its original SROD 4 speed and it is violent. I'll probably shop for T5s soon I may even try rebuilding one if I have fun with the carbs.

One thing I'd like to be able to figure out is what rear end it has in it. Is there an easy way to identify them?
