Geo was shit car that leaked oil, was dangerously slow and poor handling and constantly needed repairs. The tercel is just garbage all over. Sure they can be had for under a grand, but so can a ton of other cars that are miles better. Fiero's were absolute hunks of shit. those are for people who know cars, not new car buyers. I had a mercury sable wagon (literally a taurus) it went 200k miles with zero problems. My best friend drove a 1995 taurus and so did my grand pa for YEARS with no problems at all. I've never heard about the Taurus being unreliable from customers or online. Please show me. Also the dodge shadow was a fucking tank car(after 1990). There are TONS of people online praising it for being reliable. It's nothing special, but it's not unreliable.

Go with a GS and get a better handling car @ 200lbs lighter, 170hp, better on gas, mivec, 0-60 in 7seconds for even less than the gt. These cars are a good deal.
