Oh yes.
Mazda should just buy Alfa so we can get all the twin cars they make together
>>14171574
should have been doing this 10 or 20 years ago, probably too little too late.
germany is killing the european car industry
and since bmw 1 series is going FWD, this could save the rwd hatch breed
>>14171614
>teeny tiny mazda buying part of FCA
>>14171628
In the sense people usually buy german because status.
Fortunately there's still some people who buy these type of cars.
I'd rather buy a Giulietta than a 1 Series, A Class, A3, etc.

>FCA needing to buy and rebrand Mazdas to sell at their dealers
>>14171642
Damn that's really sad. Does the impreza kinda count since it has a longitudly mounted engine
>>14171983
imo the impreza is a pretty cool guy cause pretty much every other "4WD" hatch is using haldex shite
wait so is this another mazda 2 flavor? but rwd and deliciously alfa?
this wont come to the states will it
>>14171574
Sauce?
>>14172174
Depends how the Giulia does, I imagine. What's more, if this does happen, it'd be quite conceivable that they'd use the same platform for the new Dodge Dart/Chrysler 200. If you're making a whole new small car platform, you might as well use it in as many different models as possible.
>may
dont get your hopes up

Nuce
>>14171574
>rwd
No thanks
>>14171958
What the fuck are you talking about?
FCA doesn't share anything with mazda/ford.
And please don't even compare Mazda/Ford econoboxes to Alfas.
>>14171574
The current Giulietta is taking the whole unreliable italian car meme to a whole new level.
I was considering it a few years ago because it's the best looking compact out there, but even the used car dealer talked me out of it. It's a glorified Fiat Bravo that's a money sink if it's not under warranty. If this new one is anything like the old one, no matter the RWD, I'll stay away from it like it's a plague.
>>14172491
The Bravo is quite reliable tho.
>>14172653
By FCA standards, sure.
>>14172653
it's also a ugly shitbox
>>14172659
Fiat makes great reliable engines, it just happens sometimes the cars have electrical/electronic issues... As literally any other car brand.
>>14172659
Gr8 meme
>>14172660
I think it's the most beautiful out of the GOLF class after the Giulia.

>>14172778
>>14172778
hatches have been rising in popularity, thankfully
>>14172806

>what is the Fiata
>>14172867
It's like a soft taco.
>>14172459
The current Mito is literally a Fiat Punto with a body kit and tarted up interiot. In that sense, not only is it directly comparable with Ford and Mazda shitboxes, it is significantly worse.
