I've driven both (2013 1LE and 370Z Nismo). The Nismo has by far worse visibility, handles worse, shittier interior, way less power and apparently burns it's breaks if you want to track it (not that I've experienced that on a 30 minute test drive). Nissan dealer wanted $43k for that car... It should be priced closer to $33k. For what it's worth I did like the car, but it is worse in every way than the 1LE, which I paid $35k for (and I'm assuming the new SS is far better than the 1LE). Only weebs will defend it.
The camaro visibility issue is really just a meme. Just about every sports car has shit tier visibility. Unless you count hot hatches a sports cars.

I bought a house in 14, so I'm not in the market for either, but I've taken test drives, and the Mustang handles like shit compared to the Camaro.

The new Mustang is less upset over midcorner bumps than the old mustang, but I actually think it handles worse in every other way. The Camaro SS feels like it's significantly smaller, gripper, more poised, faster, more neutral handling, and better at stopping. Subjectively the differences are big.

He was keeping up with our auto club leaders E46 M3 in his nearly stock 2004 RX8 around the local track and absolutely trounces everyone in CS at our local autocross events.
