Hey guise
I dunno if you recall but I made a thread about head gasket replacement this week
So I have a volvo 740 that had a slight leak of cooling fluid on the head
I did the head gasket, it was apparently close to blow but the head was fine.
The intake manifold was filled with old grease (it had cholesterol), I have gained almost 10+hp doing it
anyway, I just wanted to thank you guys for your advices, she purrs like a kitten now

The running motor. for the little story I messed up the spark plug cords reassembly, it still fired up on 2 cylinders with a leak (fixed now) on the intake manifold, right after the whole reassembly and with a bunch of oil in the cylinders
these engines are truly made in Valhalla

Why do arianobile manufacturers feel sophisticated mounting their engines on a tilt? Is the air getting forced in and out more efficiently because of how its mounted coz gravity and all that?

That oil in the intake is from blow by. worn valve guides, bad valve seals or worn rings are the culprit. Mine wasn't as bad but similar.
