If I had the funds to start a car collection I wouldn't immediately fill it with sports cars but first get cars like the Cord, Tatra or Citroen DS because they've played a key role in advancing automotive technology through their unconventional engineering. A car that's fun to drive is just a car that's fun to drive, but these cars have actual historical value.
