Most of the people who currently, unironically, enjoy rice are those with nostalgic memories of it growing up (like myself). Rice was in pop culture everywhere for years.

There is such a thing as going overboard with rice, but in general, I really do like rice.

Depends on what it is- I think the ridiculously gaudy quad scoop thing on the 4th gen WS6 Trans Ams qualifies as rice, but it's so over the top I can't help but like it.
