Hey /o/, we all know about hp per liter, but what about peak torque per liter?
let's see who has the highest NA torque per liter on /o/
I'll start with 63 lb ft per liter in my stock 1997 miata.
>>14038289
Neither of those numbers is relevant. Average horsepower between shift points and BSFC are the numbers that matter. We make do with peak power and MPG numbers because we can't get the specs that matter. It's pointless to compare anything else.

probably because he makes less than 63 lb ft per liter
>>14038339
did I imply that they were relevant? I'm not trying to assess the capabilities of a bunch of cars on /o/, I just wanna see who has the highest torks per liter.
>>14038289
69.3lb/ft/L.
>>14038428
what car?
>>14038378
We should compare cupholders per lugnut. I'm at 3:20.

If I wanna know which engine can achieve the highest in-cylinder combustion pressure using 1 bar psia (atmosphere) alone, then torque per liter is the metric I'm looking for.

Glorious 4 bolt Ford and rear cup holders. That car's whole life has been leading up to this, and nothing else.
(6:16 if you count those weird cup shaped things in the front door bits)
Though I'm suddenly scared by how comparably few bits of metal are holding my wheels on.

289 Ford v8. It'll run on the top grade commercial gas; likes the racing fuel better tho. High compression, small cc heads, big cam lift, good intake manifold, open headers.
