I have been trying to figure out how none of the issues or reports before i owned that civic were known to the dealer. What im trying to figure out is that the dealership picked it up from someone in Florida who never had any reports other than renewals and a lien. Well I'm not running VINs anymore, but the main reason is availability (which ties into cost).

AC offers a 30 day, unlimited report subscription that allows for the running of plates and VINs. It's about $48. Also, their single report is about $21.
CF offers a 30 day, unlimited report subscription that allows for the running of only plates. It's about $58. To run VINs with CF, you need to buy either a single report (for about $43) or 5 reports (for about $54).

Well I recently took the bed off and treated the frame for Winter and replaced the fuel tank gasket. Just got new tires this week. And I get a free alignment with 4 tire purchase. That's Monday. Next is fix the 4x4. Was working when I got it. Fucking electrical issues popping out of nowhere. Other than that, no short term plans. Once that's finished, I should be set for Winter.

Longer term plans are new battery, clean the cables (though I could really do that any day,no point in waiting), suspension overall (biggest, longest term plan for now), fix that damn gap in the bumper (common on late model 1st gens, should be simple fix), maybe seafoam it just because, spark plugs perhaps - gotta check my records (I have full record history), dabble with wheeling - maybe with some local Tacoma owners from a site I go on. And I gotta name it. But it's gotta tell me its name.

I think that's about all I've got in mind. Otherwise just get shifting smoooooth. This thing is hard to get both up and down shifts consistently smooth. But getting better.

And of course, love the shit out of it.
