Have you ever driven one? I owned one.
It's heavy and doesn't handle well.
It's sort of fast on paper but doesn't feel fast at all, completely heartless.

I have two cars. Granted one is in need of repairs and I'm going to sell it but still. I never said they were more practical but just cooler and a better investment IMO if you plan to keep your cars for a long time.
I would definitely buy a new car if I had the cash but it would be some basic ass no frills for just for getting from point A to B , something like a Nissan Versa or Camry. Something that won't fuck up on me and is cheap to fix
