H6? Nice. Mine was $1800 three years ago, a 5 speed and only needed a timing belt.
>>
>>14025664
you paint those wheels?

mine's the VDC, got the fanciest AWD setup in NA.

I can't believe i scored it with everything working. No electrical problems, no damaged leather, almost new tires.

>>14025653

did you make it happen? or was it already broke and you just proved it?
>>
>>14026427
Yep, inb4 >plastidip but I did 6 coats of vintage gold on them, one can for each wheel. The quality of the dip is good even for an aerosol can, and I wanted the option to be able to go back to silver easily.

I think >>14025653 was just shitposting.

>>14025641

I could have gotten an LL Bean edition but they didnt come in a 5 speed so I passed and got a cheaper base model. Wish I got that flat six when the car is full of people/stuff, but over all the 4 does a decent job of moving it. I wish it would snow soon, I love that car.

If the timing belt and head gasket have been done, yes. If not, it's overpriced. If it's an auto I'd skip it either way.

OP's car has an H6, which doesn't eat headgaskets. Notice the VDC badge, they never made a 4 cylinder with VDC. >>14028312 has an EJ25D, not an EJ251.

Recently bought a 92 blazer 1500 for $800.

Subaru sold FWD cars here, the last ones were in 1996. That particular one is a 98 or 99 because of the split headlights/corners though. They still sell FWD versions of their cars in Japan.

Though mine's a 98 even though it has single piece headlights, I swapped them because I needed new headlights and corners but it was cheaper to get the single piece headlights with an adapter harness than all four lights.

Our cars are too damn similar.

I spent about a year looking for a clean late model 6spd RZ MKIV in royal sapphire pearl

I used to own a 2001 auto SZ in royal sapphire pearl and considered an engine and tranny swap, but it worked out to be around the same price just selling it and buying a genuine RZ

But fuck me they don't come up for sale often, and when they do they don't last long, I tried buying 3 of them before I found mine, first 2 got sold before I could even go look at them and the last one the guy decided he didn't want to sell it anymore

Pretty funny that I actually managed to find this one at the same import yard that I bought my SZ from and it had only just landed in the country, so I jumped on that shit, and did the deal that day.

he said he paid $1000 for it, you're not going to get a third gen for that.

>>14035151
man that color is beautiful. what country are you in?

I was pretty pleased that I got almost $20k off the sticker price of my truck. it's an oddball with a crew cab and the 6.5' bed instead of the 5.5' and it has the big tow mirrors, so it wasn't very desirable amongst the soccer moms that usually buy fully loaded half tons. it was exactly what I wanted other than I didn't want the chrome package, but I waited until after ordering for the new 2015 F150 began, decided the new truck wasn't what I wanted, and dealers were dying to get the 2014s off of their lot. so I actually paid less for this truck new than I paid for my used 2010 King Ranch that I bought in 2012.

Considerably cheaper supra's here compared to the states, feels good man
>>
>>14035474
gotcha. I'm in the US obviously, saw someone selling a 1500whp 97 Supra on Craigslist for fucking $85k and just because I thought he was a gigantic fuckhole I took pictures of a friend's Gallardo and had him convinced that I would straight trade and led him on for like a week. I probably need a better hobby but it was pretty funny.

haha oh wow, got any pics of the supra?

I know there is a legit 1600whp supra up for sale over there for 95k, I highly doubt anyone with that kind of money would pay that much though, even for a beast like that.

no I don't, it was like early last year. it was a red one with BBS RK wheels and Bride seats but that's all I remember. I don't think it was even an original TT/manual car but a swapped one. I've seen stock TT/manuals sell for around $30k in the midwest so I sure as fuck wouldn't pay that.

5 speed GT Wagon?

>>
>>14038413
I know, right? For some reason every other time I say that it's rare here some turd says "nuh-uh they're actually everywhere" but I'm the one that waited a year and a half for even just ONE to show up, and I bought it. It doesn't help that I live in Texas.

I just looked at all the Subaru havens' craigslists (Colorado, Oregon, New England, etc) and I found exactly 3 1995-99 GT wagons for sale with a manual in running condition, two in Portland and one in NY.
>>
>>14025641
I live about 20 min away from LA and I know I don't need awd at all for where I live but my audi has been giving me nothing but problems and in currently looking at craigslist for a subaru because I head up to Oregon and Washington at least twice a year sometimes more. What would you recommend someone with a budget around 4k?
