The Handbook says about Seasonally Adjusted Blends that:

A minimum of 70% by volume of alcohol is permitted in the winter blend by the ASTM fuel standard. This seasonal blending from 15% to 30% gasoline limits concerns about winter cold starting and are similar to seasonal adjustments of volatility (vapor pressure) used in gasoline blending throughout the United States."

e85 is gonna be irrelevant soon enough other than to be a poorman's racing fuel. Its taught that it is a retarded fuel because it: uses a food source to make a fuel and in some capacity still requires petroleum. Yeah it helps make some power because it burns so cool and shits tight, but its generally irrelevant in non-mid west states because we don't get it.

where are you located senpai? I live in New Orleans, we have 93 and then if you go across the river into the Westbank we have a race track that GTX260 (98), GT260 + (104), and 112 octane gas.

Now that I think about it, we are such a huge oil state (a girl I grew up with's dad own a oil company, a guy I went to middle school with owned a oil company and sold it, and a family friend owned an oil company) they just might try their best to not have it in our state.

I'm in NC, home of NASCAR. I'm sure there's lots of high Octane fuel around racetracks, unfortunately none very close by. Where as I have an E85 pump (pictured) 5 minutes from the house.

E30 as in blending E85 in with 93 octane gas to get a 30% ethanol mix.

My gas tank is 12.4 gallons so I mix in 3.3 gallons of e85 to get an e30 blend.
