Get a 4age+ecu from a junkyard. Nothing special but it will have lower miles and more power. With how common that motor is I would be amazed if you couldn't buy or hack up the wiring.

This is a fun project. And like I said above. I can get a whole car for $300 to $500 and swap over all the engine and harness and such.
