So, I got scammed like an idiot buying snow tires at a used tires place.
I ended up paying $500 Cdn for used bridgestone blizzaks. They were 5 years old, with 9 out of 14 mm?? tread left.
When I got an oil change, dude said, your tires are almost at the wear bar and they will go another season maybe. He says the wear bar and age is what matters with snows. So I go back to the shop, bitch, and the guys says, for $150 more, he will put New no name snows on. This is going on a ford edge.
Am I just fucked, should I just stick with the blizzaks, or should I go with these "eternity" brand tires for the extra bit. I feel quite scammed already, so I just want to make sure I don't get even more fucked.

Stick with the Blizzaks if they aren't dry rotted or hardened. Should be fine for winter duty. Spend your maplebucks on new ones next time.

honestly OP, if you can, go the season with these shit tires, if you're working put like $50 or something away and over the course of a few months, or until next winter buy brand new winters from a reputable tire shop, no point in giving the kek more money if he fucked you over already
