Nissan really likes that separated D pillar look.
What do you guys think of the new Leaf?

that's not a leaf
Are you talking about the seam for the hatch? I wouldn't call that a D pillar.
>>13963833
Hatches don't have d pillars.

Is that the gripZ?

A 3 door hatch doesn't, but a 5 door hatch does.

GM's new purpose built pure battery EV. they promised a 200 miles range and a $35,000 price.

where is your god now?

That one does, doesn't mean they all do.

it's actually the only modern design trend that really pisses me off.
I like Range Rovers floating roof and I like the GTRs floating A pillar.
But this stupid "continuous window" just looks awful. It looks aesthetically bad. From all angles.
It's obviously designed for cost saving reasons - it means the rear quarter panel no longer extends all the way to the A pillar. Instead of one big panel, they have lots of little ones.

look at the Insight's rear quarter panel compared to the one in OPs pic.
