Indon't know about you, but I rarely ever see Vipers where I live, especially newer models. And this is an area where Teslas, Maseratis, Ferraris, Lamorghinis, and Bentleys are easily seen often.

FCA's main problem is quality control, or rather the lack thereof.
The Viper is completely hand-built in a special factory, not on some regular zero-QC assembly line.

Those that can afford it mostly don't want it or care for it (usually). Those that want a want dodge usually go with the hellcat. It's just a very small niche

I think that there's very small amount of people who would actually buy one given the chance, and it is totally uncorrelated with the input.

So being the case that to own a viper one has to be both moderately rich and fanatic petrolhead the niche is fairly small.

I have to say that idk if Ill own one given the chance. Pretty sure a radical sr8 is faster around a track and there is better cars for road use than a 600+ hp monster. It would be one the top three options, anyway.

I think the viper would be an amazing car to have. It's just the price puts it in a niche class. People who spend that money want to show off. I Have yet to see a viper in my part of FL. There's a Chevelle, Diablo and a fuckin pantera GTS in my neighborhood and several AC Cobras, still yet to see a viper of any generation
