Anyone ever use these?
Like to get a little heat while waiting on your car to warm up?
It seems like they all get terrible reviews so I'm having a hard time finding one.
Any known good ones out there?

sounds like a car fire waiting to happen, i don't use one because my car heats up way too much after a few minutes of driving

Maybe you should get a block heater and time it to get your engine toasty 30 min before you leave, then start your car and go back inside for a min, then come out to toasty car
>>
never seen this bull shit and im from ny where it gets cold af in the winter

Just get a block heater, they are god tier for northern folk.

If your car sucks at warming up you should probably change your engine coolant thermostat. If it still sucks at warming up tape cardboard over your grille and cut out a small square (25-35% original area) to restrict airflow to the radiator. You will also see a rise in fuel economy if the thermostat is faulty, because your ECU ignores O2 readings until it thinks it is "Warm"

block heaters are more efficient at heathing your vehicle
and >>13952896 is right, my dad had one in his truck and it melted on him 2nd day he had it, almost caught the interior of the truck on fire.

Good to know

nothing that a space heater and an extension cord wouldn't do better. Just plug it in 15 mins before you go and try to point it away from anything flammable.

12v sockets are too weak for heaters.
>>
Just use a candle.
