My dad has one of these.
It's missing its hubcaps, the clearcoat is flaking off, it hasn't been cleaned in months and hasn't been vacuumed in years, the front right brake caliper sticks from time to time and there's two holes in the exhaust, but it just soldiers on. It just doesn't give a shit.

If it counts,my parents way back when had a faded blue '94 GMC Safari.Remember fixing it,working on it and it was free.Hit 3 deer in it,didn't kill it and after 7 years of that shit we replaced it with a 2nd Exploder.

Is the Geo Metro / Suzuki Swift the only car that both sides of the Atlantic can agree on? I bought mine because I needed a car ASAP and had planned to keep looking for something interesting to replace it with but god damn. It's been so efficient and reliable I'm actually starting to like it a lot. In fact I just bought another.

As for some of the older basest of base cars out there

as are small wheels that do not have a large aftermarket of performance tires

Barely anything worked, maybe it was just that one metro but it left me with the impression that it is the ultimate shitbox. while the ae92 sedan was the best

Have Shitbox thats 40+ years old. Has 97k miles if not 197k or 297k.

Starts up everyday. Only thing "Power" is its lights and radio.

Nothing over $15 per part to fix.

4wheel drums. Carburated 1.4l OHV Boxer Engine.

Never run into another one any where. Just Endless amount of people asking "what Toyota/Datsun is that?"

37mpg. Slow as a lawnmower.
