What's /o/'s opinion on Citroens?

weird interior
expensive to fix
I've rebuilt a Citroën 2cv6 Charleston 5 years ago
Fun to drive, cheap, but not really reliable
Easily one of the more interesting makers historically, ruined by their own innovation.

Brother drove a bx for years. Later models were pretty good but qualitywiss substandard. Worked as long as you took care of the hydropneumatic. Cant remember a single car more comfy than that though for the price of 500€

a few bx gti 16v have shown up
but I don't feel confidant making decisions any more
Admirable innovators past their prime.

I dont know how spread they are in burgerland but unless you have a good supply for parts and time to fix the car, which you will, i dont recommend it. Once they work, they work for a long time. The engines are nearly unkillable and rust isnt much of a Problem either. The lack of electronics is a plus too. Unlike the Citroën XM my dad killed

European cars are very rare
and the only euro car dealership in my town just closed down
makes me feel like giving up and buying a Japanese car
French engineering.
>French
>engineering
Seems their designers are back on coke. Hyped.

They either do very, very good cars or very, very shitty cars with low quality interiors and shitty engines. They are almost schizophrenic.
But in Europe they are mostly seen as a cheap brand with some interesting technological solutions. A German car will always be better.
