Buying a 2 or 2+2 seat coupe and having a hatch or small CUV for when space is needed makes more sense than buying some in between car.

These look way too generic to me. Just looks like any other modern jag. Nothing sets the two sedan models ad their trims apart much.
It also looks a shitload like a stretched impreza.
At least they're not priced too absurdly anymore but I'd honestly rather get a well equipped Focus RS or an STI instead.

Same thing with BMW. It's not like the old models where you had very distinguished silhouettes, rooflines. You had the M1, you had the coupe with the lack of B pillar and seamless windows that go down.

It's hilarious how Alfa used to be all edgy and aggressive with their design (also MUH PASSION) and now since they're really trying HARD to ~expand globally~ ... their cars look like run off the mill slapped together design parts from all European brands into one huge clusterfuck garnished with a handful spaghetti on top.

I haven't seen a more boring Alfa since the mid 80's.

I suppose some of them have had a certain menace, but not to the same cartoonish extent.

I'm not particularly into that kind of styling even on the fastest cars in the world, to be honest. Certainly supersaloons should have some cues that single them out, but I'd much prefer mine at least to be a lot less in yer face about it. The E90 M3 got it about right in that regard, I reckon.
