I don't do my own oil changes. Not that I don't know how, I'm just lazy and I put synthetic in all of my cars, and for the price of 6 qts of synth oil, it's only $10 more and I don't have to do shit myself. So, that's my lazy ass logic.

I'm a putz for rare/collectible cars. I own four cars, and out of those four, three were only made in a limited run and are no longer available today. They tend to hold their value rather well and are all maintained very well.

GM doesn't forge their shit and instead use shitty cast parts that blow up, bend, and shred under the slightest amount of stress. LS engines might be cheap, but there is a reason for that.

The N/A LS engines don't hold up under boost, and the already boosted LS engines don't hold up to increased boost. GM made them to sustain what power they put out from stock and not much more. The old LT engines were so much more durable.

Why do you think LS's are found in junkyards? And it's not because people just wreck the cars. It's because their internals are not forged. They are cheap cast parts and every real LS build first and foremost get forged internals and a sturdy cam. Otherwise they will tear themselves apart.

People who think they can take a 280rwhp car and put out 500+rwhp and think it's going to be perfectly fine on the stock internals are in for a bad experience.
