I did one like this on the interstate. Was bookin' along about 15 over and passed a cop going the other way. Looked in the mirror and see his lights come on, sure as shit he slows at one of the paved connections between the grass median and makes a u-turn. I never slowed down and was cresting a hill as he was turning around. I put the pedal down and took the exit just over the hill which didn't matter because it was the scenic country route to get where I was going anyway. Looked in the rear view after making the exit and he went shooting by on the interstate. Might be one of those awkward situations where he was just responding to a call and wasn't actually after me, but I like to think maybe I pulled a fast one on him.

I was coming down NY-22 south around Copake when a New York state trooper traveling North came up and hit me with instant-on point blank, my RD went off when he was probably less than 200ft from me. I was doing 70mph and the limit is 55mph. So of course he hits his brake lights to get ready to turn around I noticed a small side road. I was briefly out of line of sight as I had crested over a small hill so I took the turn and gunned it. Must have been doing 80mph down a 30-35mph road.

Maybe he wasn't gonna pull me over but I was 15 over with Connecticut plates so I wasn't taking the chance. Already got fucked in New York once.
