What are some very easy car mods for someone with little to none car knowledge?
ie changing air filter

Plastidip seems to be pretty popular with people wanting to mod and dont have a clue/monies for real mods
For performance take bits you don't use off until it stops running. Put that bit back on and try something less important.
You can loose about 30% of a small car
before it becomes purely ornamental.

Brakes, wheels/tires. Air filter as you said. If you like to do little DIY stuff to rice the car out MightyCarMods' early videos would be good to watch.

Their early vids are pretty silly mods.
Vids are fun, but mods are lame

This is boring but...things that make YOU happy. 100% of the time you are driving your car you are in it. So best mods you can afford are a mp3 player/phone cord to your radio, commuter mug for your coffee/soda, maybe even seat beads.
It's YOUR car. If you like faggy stickers,do it. My favorite "mod" was burning cd's of radio shows not available in my area.(2003 era) 2000 camaro

I like posts like this.
Also, the Twingo is a nice touch on top of it.
>air filter
>changing wheels
>changing halogen lights
>brake pads
>spark plugs
These aren't really "mods", more like basic items maintenance but installing higher quality parts can go along way.
>cold air intake
>short shift kit
>weight reduction
>performance tires
>cat-back exhaust
Requires basic wrenching knowledge but aren't difficult at all. Can give a small increase in performance, won't do any miracles though.
