Daily reminder that the Grand National was NOT a performance trim level. The Grand National was an appearance package for the Buick Regal T-Type

and i care why?

Daily reminder that the "T" in Regal T-Type did not stand for "Turbo" like most people think. It stood for "Touring".

While T-Types were usually ordered with the 3.8 Turbo V6, they were also available with the Olds 307.

Daily reminder that Regular Cock Reviews did not do the research before he reviewed the Grand National and simply bullshitted his way through the whole thing.

Really, MR Fagular, is it so hard to use google for basic fact checking?
>>
>>13903361
yep
>>
>>13903343
Given this and what OP stated, is it not possible there's a Grand National out there that came with the 307 V8? Or was the appearance package exclusive to the turbo cars?
>>
>tfw Dad used to have a black '87 T- Type
Why sell it dad
why
>>
>>13903361
Then why did he say that it was just an appearance package and that the t-type might be faster cause it had alloy wheels?
>>
>>13903657
Because it is a piece of shit old car that can get smoked by a 1.7 liter 2015 fiesta.
>>
>>13903225
The GNX was a performance package though.
>>
>>13903732
The GNX was a 1 model year special edition with just over 500 built. It was based on a Grand National T-Type, but the Grand National itself was an appearance package.
>>
>>13903343
And you could even order Regal Limiteds with the 3.8.

Just bought this mint 87 for 14k. You can find the hot air cars for around 10k still just need to give it more time since they're rare cars. I spent 2 years looking for mine.

>tfw dad has one
>It's been sitting for many years
>It's not in great shape right now
The sadness consumes me

I won't post the pic because it'll just bum everyone out.
>>
>>13903928
I think I've seen the pics if you posted them before. It hurts me to see it out in the sun and rain
>>
>>13903230
because you should know the basics about cars that are faster than yours
>>
>>13903744
Exactly what I just said
