best City/State for car culture?
I'm deciding where to attend college based on the car scene:
Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Houston are all on my list so far. Thoughts?
>into cars
>want to live in a city
are you a stancefag or boomer

I live in a shithole town and I have no carfriends. I'm okay with stancefags and boomers as long as I can make friends with similar interests.
Question as well - if I come to California for school from out of state, I can keep my car registered in my home state without needing smog etc? cuz no cats

You should be good, my friends who brought their cars from out of state to school in California still have them registered to their home states

>I'm deciding where to attend college based on the car scene:
Oh my god, don't even go.

Los Angeles has the best car culture in the US bar none.

No. California as a whole, maybe. But LA sucks in all ways and is a shit place to drive
>>13900305
Southern California in general. LA is just the most central location.

TN is bretty gud with the back-roads, it pretty much only snows when it's "supposed to", and has a mix of muscle cars and imports; I personally haven't explored the U.S. like Lewis & Clarke though. But why choose where you're going to college based on the car scene?(Unless you're going to be a mechanic or some shit.) Sounds like a waste of your time and your parents' money.

Pic related, buy a motorcycle
>>13900158
LA's a pretty nice place to live imo. What college would you be going to? City college, UC, private?
You'll get absolutely assblasted by out of state tuition if you go to the UC
>>13900369
Miami sucks shit and is dangerous as all hell to ride in.
>>13900158
ASU
>>13900373
Chapman or San Diego most likely.
>>13900158
Marin County Northern California.
Malaysia
Yes I'm aware it's not a city or a state.

All colleges are the same you mong. The quality of teachers in every non ivy university is exactly the same. and even community colleges of major cities in desirable locations like LA and SD are as good as university teachers elsewhere because theres too many teachers.
>>13900158
>street racing
>all 150 hp fwd shitboxes
Go figure
>>13901038
You forgot technical schools, or schools with specialties.
No, the quality of teachers is not the same you mong. Try comparing the engineering program of Texas A&M to community college. It maybe holds true if you're getting a useless degree like philosophy, women's studies, or liberal arts.
>>13901053
I'm almost certain the quality of professor at A&M teaching intro first and second year engineering courses is just as good as the one at santa monica city college.
>>13901071
the same professor who could get into cal poly, but can't because all positions are full, but still wanted to live in southern california.

This.
If it wasnt for the horrific traffic and the ghetto trash stealing cars left and right itd be okay,
I dont even mind the heat down there, doesnt feel as bad as Fresno.
Probs north cali/bay area.We have some great empty roads here while not being too far from cities.

If you can afford it.
Its getting too damn expensive to live out here, tempted to buy a house up North with atleast an acre of land.
Then we can have /o/ campouts on the property.
