Hello. I am looking for the most reliable AWD vehicle with the most reliable engine variation it can possibly have. I am moving to a secluded location and pretty much screwed if it ever fails.
Heard volvo awd's are nice but might be really unreliable sometimes. Audi seems nice also but it's a pain to find the most reliable engine combination. Was looking at L200's and Hilux's but tax is too much.
Stagea if they're available
Get a 90s or early 00s nonturbo subaru and make sure the head gaskets were replaced

Why? You obviously don't need to go off road while carrying loads.
>>13897096
>seriously asking this question
Subaru. Pick one. Any one.
>>13897166
I love Subarus but they're far from having the most reliable engine platform in an AWD vehicle.
I would go for maybe a Honda Pilot or CRV if you're looking for reliability.
>>13897173
They are only considered unreliable because of head gasket issues in the 90s and used turbo ones were driven to death by idiots. A well maintained nonturbo subaru would last forever
>>13897173
cr-V is basically a FWD. it's shit
Toyota Land Cruiser
Mercedes-Benz G-Class
>>13897184
The head gasket issue is still present in the EJ motors. Impreza non-turbo uses the EJ255 along with the turbo models. Oil pickup failure and ring land issues are also common with them.
>>13897189
If you buy a CRV or Pilot, I don't think you give two shits about full time AWD. Or need it.
>>13897173
No. Honda's AWD system never sends any power to the back wheels. It's FWD. Get over yourself
>>13897184
This. You don't win the World Rally Championship multiple times with an unreliable car
>>13897222
The headgasket issues were fixed with a gasket redesign in 2002. Stay mad.
>>13897229
I'm not mad at all. I loved my WRX. Sadly the head gasket issue is still very real among other ones. I wish you were right as much as you do.
Panda 4x4
literally easy to fix
>>13897096
4runner or a Prado?
>>13897229
> You don't win the World Rally Championship multiple times with an unreliable car
>implying a WRC car has any baring what soever on a production car
This, ladies and gentlemen, is an example of a Subaretard.
>>13897229
>implying WRC has any bearing on general reliability
although i will concede subarus are generally reliable
>>13897298
this, 4runners are super reliable. land cruisers too.
>>13897339
Going to presume you linked the wrong post, but Group A=/=WRC.
>>13897479
Not him but going to presume you tried to act smart and failed miserably, typical /o/tist
H6 Subaru, no head gasket issues
>>13897479
Group A (87-97) and World Rally Car (97-) were both World Rally Championship classes
>>13897298
4runner and prado are probably the shittiest suggestions that are ever made in this thread. overpriced uncapable shitbox.
