A decent FD in the current market can be bought for around 15-16k USD, if you're outside of the states less.

Personally if I had the money I would swap. Rotaries are not turn key, I like that convenience. An rotary FD in good condition, won't overheat (unless you're tracking/racing). They feel warmer and generally are more hot though.

For the most part I maintain the car myself, for major repairs though i'm fortunate enough to be within 2 hours from a specialty shop. LS isn't super meme, but a bit more so on /o/ than real life.
