Hello /o/.

I know very, very little about cars. My apologies now for my ignorance. Any chance anyone can identify what year/model this Honda Accord is likely to be?

90s accord

1993-97, 5th gen accord.

Probably 6th gen

The 5th gen seems most likely to have that trunk adornment (no clue what it's called) but was under impression it was from early 2000s.

Second question: if this is a 5th gen from that time frame would it be likely to hold up well today with only 180KM (111.8 miles) on it? I realize that largely depends on maintenance, use-case etc, but looking for general perspective.

hondas and toyotas (some nissans) generally last forever.
I had a 1986 accord I sold to my dad at 270k miles, still running strong as ever.

So I've heard! Looking at this as my first car and wanted something reliable since I'm not exactly flush with cash.

Assuming it had no issues and was a 5th gen, how much would you pay for it?
>>

I wouldn't go above 2.3k desu. 1500 seems fair, but I know a lot shits like to price these things way to high. they're everywhere though, so don't get discouraged if you don't get it.

2k. But it heavily depends on the condition of the car. You could talk the owner down for a few bucks if the car has buffs or scratches. Also it's very important how much miles the car has on it. For used cars 100k to 150k are acceptable (especially for accords since they're typically long lasting) 200k are rather much and 300k is too much.

Thank you both. Your answers have helped a lot.

Last question: What *is* that back adornment on the trunk called?
>>
>>13877084
Spoiler. They keep the rear on the ground.
>>
>>13877084
Np.

>>13877093
yeah, but from what I understand, unless your going illegal speeds, it really doesn't make a difference. mainly just for looks.
>>
>>13877093
>>13877133

...So if I was to think it looked stupid, could it be safely removed? Not the end of the world but I'm not a fan of it.
>>
>>13877144
Totally, desu I think this thing is just for decoration
>>
>>13877144
you wouldn't lose functionality one bit, but you might have marks left over from where it was. depending on how it comes off.
