>tfw no Tacoma
Lets have a Tacoma thread, I love light trucks.
>inb4 Tundra
>Wanting a pigfat shitbox
No teeth please.
>>13875901
Tundra life f@m
are new tacomas a shit? how's the road noise and ride quality
>>13875901
>Tacoma
>still a light truck
It's huge now
>>13875929
All trucks in America are huge now. You can either have heavy as fuck or slightly less heavy, so you have to take what you can get.
>>13875923
All Tacomas are shit.
>>13875962
At least they still have manuel transmisiones en lugar de autrotragics like Chevy and Ford trucks.
>>13875988
Who cares? I don't need or want a manual in a pickup truck.
>>13875996
>Not dumping the clutch in your truck and spinning out in the rain
This board is for automotive enthusiasts.
>>13876010
I don't need a manual to do a burnout.
>>13876016
>manual
It's pronounced manuél
>>13875901
I was looking at buying a Tacoma
I BOUGHT A TUNDRA INSTEAD!!!!
>>13876032
Fucking Tundra furries coming here to start trouble.
>>13875929
Seriously this.
Theyre almost the size of an F150, at that size id just buy an F150.
Also 03 Tacoma owner here, id post a pic but 4chan is being a nigger
I really was looking for a used Tacoma, but finding one with the 6' bed is almost impossible
wtf is up with that tiny useless bed?
My plate finally came
>>13876130
I snagged "TOYOTA" for my 4runner, felt pretty good when it came in.
>>13875996
Lol fuck America is backwards..
Everywhere else in the world commercial work trucks are manual.
Should've never sold that t100 to that Guatemalan
>not just getting the poorfag version and saving 10 grand
>>13876123
Up until 2005 they used the same frame for the quad cabs and extended cabs so the bed is just shortened on the 4 doors
>>13876141
Sucks for them.
>>13876144
>tfw trying to find a clean 5-speed one
>>13876144
That's not a Tacoma.
>>13876141
>Everywhere else in the world commercial work trucks are manual.
Cool. I care, why?
Not just driving a ranger. Plebs.
>>13877326
Pic related, my '99 ranger
I need a 2016 tacoma
>>13876343
You're lazy, and probably can't drive. So I doubt you would care.
>>13876335
for all intensive purposes it is.
I wish used Tacos weren't so damn expensive in CT, I see 2005 year models going for roughly $9000 even when they have over 100k miles on them.
Does burger land into Mazda?
>>13875916
what is the differance between the Hilux and the tacoma? are they actually diffrent cars, or are they just rebadged for diffrent markets?
>>13877342
Meanwhile the rest of the world only tows lawn mowers with their trucks.
>>13878247
They are pretty much rebadged.
The Hilux has diesel engine options that will never be reliable here because of the EPA.
The Hilux has higher tow/payload ratings, because the US is sue happy, and they know people are going to overload their truck.
>new Toyota pickup trucks
Why fix somethin that ain't broke?
My pops had this bad boy for at least 24 years.
It literally hasn't been in the shop for decades.
>>13878296
Do they?
>>13878090
The last real Mazda truck was sold here in the early 90s.
Following that they were basically rebadged USDM Ford Rangers and were discontinued in 2009.
It would be nice to have the global version but I don't think anyone here is willing to pay F-150 prices for them.
>>13878296
No we tend to put the lawn mower straight into the bed.
>>13878309
>and they know people are going to overload their truck
You think people in the third world stick to their payload ratings? You fill the thing until it cannot hold anymore/barely make it up the hill.
>tfw it sat on the bump stops 1500 lbs ago.
>>13876141
Yeah dipshit, so does America.
Just go into a trucker thread you dumb cunt. But why does it even matter what transmission is used in a fucking commercial vehicle?
Which do I buy for around $30k? Primary use is a multiple-motorcycle hauler.
>2016 Colorado, Extended Cab, 6' bed, LT, RWD, V6, towing package, $28k - discount
>2016 Tacoma, Access Cab, 6' bed, SR5, AWD, V6, $32k
>>13876141
Driving a manual in steel toes for 3 hours a day is a pain in the ass m8y
Thinking about getting an older ranger, tacoma, S10 or Colorado and lifting it a bit. Which one should I get? I live in Vegas but hope to be moving soon.
>>13877339
Kind of disappointed with how short the 2016's bed is.
>>13879364
Slightly used 14 or 15 Eco boost or a ram 3.0l v6 diesel
>>13879556
How reliable is a ram? My googling makes me scared to buy one.
>>13879603
Not quite sure, it's still a newer model. Typically though you will be fine, they couldn't stay in business this long if all they sold was lemons
>>13875901
terrorist pls go
>>13879603
they're garbage. anything that can break, will.
>>13879603
It's a Chrysler product, so, it's shit.
>>13881748
I really want a Challenger but then I remind myself that I owned a Neon once.
>>13879533
Older ranger with ttb or overpay for a tacoma. Try to gey a locker.
>>13879533
s10 with 4.3 is a fucking tank. i jumped my brothers 15 feet in the air at this rail road track that was steep as hell once. nothing seemed broken. didn't really ever drive it much more after that though (it was junk though, he gave me permission to run it into a ditch if i wanted, cause i got it running again, and he was gonna scrap it)
>>13883565
TOYOTA
DENSO
AISIN
>>13883565
Big deal, I eat my breakfast while squeezing out logs.
What turned me off about Tacos is that theyre made in the US and not Japan.
But Id love to get a clean T100 or that 350 swapped B2000 that was floating around craigslist.
>>13876130
Nice child bearing hips, do you have Kleinfelters syndrome?
>>13883942
>What turned me off about Tacos is that theyre made in the US and not Japan.
Something as big as a Tacoma wouldn't be made in modern Japan. No point in paying the shipping fees when nobody in Japan would buy one.
>>13883998
The Nissan Titan is though, let me reconfirm.
>>13884059
My bad, its actually not.
>>13879396
Bullshit, unless you've got a bung hip or something.
