I don't hate the idea of an American 4cyl turbo coupe, but they shoulda designed something totally new that would be in the same class as the Toyobaru but with way more power and better in every way. Still not sure why they put the thing in the Mustang. They should've used the 3.5L Ecoboost V6 from the F-150 instead if they had to put a turbo in the Mustang.

I hate the headlights as well, but I don't even think it looks angry. Everything about the face looks happy, but then they slapped on the squinty eyes. It looks like someone designed with a happy face in mind, and someone came along and said "no no we need it to be angry. Put some angry eyes on it". It doesn't make it look aggressive, but it isn't as fun as it should look. I want someone to shop NB/NC headlights on it, it would look way better

This is what happened in Australia. Ford decided to turbocharge their 4l inline six and it killed the V8. Even with a supercharger on the V8, the l6 turbo still kicks shit.

I don't think the headlights are too bad. They look perfectly fine in person.
They just look weird in pictures because you don't realize how small the car is. Even when you look at them next to the NA Miata, they look fine to me.

The problem I have is simply that the front doesn't match the back.
The back looks like a mix of the Z4 and F-Type.
The front is very Japanese and looks like a Chinese fighting fish.

But it's overall a pretty nice looking car.

I hope they keep the FE RX-7 more simple and more timeless looking, though.

I like the way fender arches better fit the wheels on modern cars.

I actually liked the way the NC looked like a modern NA with flush fender arches, but it was not a very good car like the ND is.
