LGT Wagon/OBXT. hektik trubo M9. Great drivetrain platform to build big power if you want it, but fast enough in stock form to statisfy. Quick and fun on and off road, but nothing so special or expensive that you'd be afraid to have fun with it.

Both have very good handling, oodles of space for five and all their bags, and are comfortable. One is easier to modify than the other but it could easily be argued the other doesn't require modification. Both are quite quick.
