looking for something in the 8K price range. Would love a small RWD car, but i also need to be able to fit more that 2 people and have a good amount of cargo space.

maybe i should make it a little more clear. I would love a small RWD. I have considered Financing a FRS and other cars, but i honestly dont want to be in debt, also insurance will be very high. I have an $8K Budget because i am buying cash. I often use cargo space and Need to be able to transport at least 4 people. If anyone knows any other cars in that pice range let me know. I Am considering mods down the road. Also on a side note is it okay to purchase cars that have been modded and professionally tuned? Might be looking into that too.

4 seats, plenty of cargo space, and very sporty.
Don't listen to memes about rotaries being unreliable. Get one used by someone who knew how to treat a rotary and you will be fine. Just premix, redline it regularly, and make sure you keep up on the maintenance (coolant and oil levels).
