I like slow cars, as long as they handle well. I put a ton of money into adjustable suspensions and light wheels/sticky tires for my car, and for the engine only raised the revlimit and put a full exhaust on it for a little louder sound.

Straight 6 4.0 is a pretty great motor. I had a commanche for a while and it was a lot of fun.

My brake caliper was leaking, somehow stopped by itself so I didn't bother fixing it.
Changed the pads about a month ago and it started leaking so much that I can't drive it at the moment. Went through a bottle in about an hour.

I have a honda crv that is over 300,000km on the original engine and I still maintain it. Just recently I had to replace the radiator, it's great practice and it doesn't matter if you fuck up because it isn't your daily so you aren't dependent on it.

i was a semi-pro racing driver for a time and am considered the best driver amongst friends (not that it means much...) and one time i crashed so bad my car did several barrel rolls and ended up in against a tree. i survived without a scartch because of my driver position and airbags.

my gf on the other hand is a terrible driver. doesn't stop at stops or red lights some times. always speeds, really stupid shit, to the point where i driver her almost everywhere. she's recieved plenty of tickets. but she never crashed, and she's been driving for longer than me (1 years)
