4wd on the Focus RS sounds nice, the last generation had serious trouble putting it's power down when it wasn't in a straight line. Brakes fade fast as well, so it was basically an unguided missile.

The new RS is a step up, the 4wd system should be able to send some power to the rear wheels when needed. But will it act fast enough? And will it be able to stand up to the abuse when they up the boost? That Ecotec engine already has a moderate amount of aftermarket, and the old 2.5 5pot could be boosted a lot.

For the same money, a good hawkeye STI with some mods will do much better. But Ford is getting there. If the driveline and brakes are overspecced this thing could be golden.
If you want something new, the brz/gt86/whatever with some boost works well too, if you don't mind not having the 4wd.
