You do realise that only the last generation (MK7) was offered only as FF, right?
MK1 to MK3 were FR, and MK4 to MK6 could be had with AWD or FWD
>>13837817
1st or 3rd for FR
5th or 6th in turbo AWD form
>>13837842
>MK3
I'm pretty sure that pics a mk2 supra with SSR MK3 wheels
1st gen liftbacks all the way.
>>13838076
Weren't they sold as the "same car", aka the Toyota Celica Supra?
>>13838102
Correct, also called the Celica XX. Its still mk2 not mk3
>>13838076
+1 to this
>>13838112
So a MK2 Supra is the same body as a MK3 Celica, or is it simply that the picture I used in >>13837842 is a MK2 Celica?
>>13838143
the latter. it says mk3 in the image because that's the name of the wheels. take a look

This. Would love to see one of these with a newer Toyota engine swapped in, the brakes converted to four-disc and some suspension upgrades. Even as they are though they're basically everything that's sexy about a '69 Mustang with none of the pigfat or lazy handling.

69 Mustangs weighed 2700lbs and 1st gen Mustangs dominated circuit racing worldwide for years
>>13839580
>69 Mustangs weighed 2700lbs
1st gen Celicas weighed between around 1900 lbs to 2500 for the smog era US cars.
>>13839580
>1st gen Mustangs dominated circuit racing worldwide for years

Damn, that shot even makes the notchback look fine.

>Had a change to buy a very decent first gen celica a year or so ago.
>Very fucking decent celica
>Was wanting a BMW 2002
>Decided to not get it
Life suffers.
>>13839626
Cool, that means 2700lbs is pigfat?
>>13839642
Sounds like you don't know anything about racing in the 60s, the days of strict homologation rules. Feel free to read up on the rule sheets of British Saloon Car Championship, FIA Rally, and Trans Am during the 60s and let us know how the race cars differed from the street cars.
>>13839626
Also, a couple of the performance models of the '69-'70 Mustang body style weigh more than 3,000 pounds. Boss 302 was 3392, a '70 Mach 1 was 3406 with a 3-speed manual and a 351.
>>13839682
>Cool, that means 2700lbs is pigfat?
By comparison yes, very much so. And again, see >>13839686
ST205 boss
>>13839686
This.
Modern Mustangs arent much heavier than the first gen one and they have way more power.
I dont really understand the pigfat maymay.
>>13838089
m8 if I wanted a challenger with datsun front mount mirrors I'd just buy one
>>13839682
What 1st gen was 2700lb? A fucking base model 6 cyl?
>>13839746
Yeah I was just looking over some data and it seems like it's just that, actually. 200 Thriftpower I6 and a three-speed manual.
wooo I'm a plane
Looks like heart breaker is too rekt to reply

6 gen with v6 swap
ST185 > ST205 > ST160 > A60 > A30 > A40 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> T130
They are all pretty close up until the 7th generation. Hard to compare the first three to 4 - 6 though. I prefer the AWD ones because they are a lot more unique than the rwd ones.
>>13837817
The 7th gen so looks like it should be RWD, Shame really as its a good looking car inside and out

T18x series.
Particularly the T185 All-Trac/GT-Four. It's got the turbo 3S-GTE and AWD as well as the '90s sportscar looks complete with pop-ups. It's almost cute even.
>>13838076
It's a mk3, mk2 was the hideous disco celica/supra. Rear most right in op pic is a mk2.
>>13840501
its a MK2 aka celica xx
