Seriously, stance can be cool and all, but i have no idea how people can manage to daily cars that are so low, not only because of the scraping, but all the headlight glare you're going to get

i drive a relatively low car, low enough to not scrape, and what absolutely grinds my gears is getting my eyes burned at night by people whose headlights are either misaligned, or sit so tall that they can't help but shine through my mirrors and directly into my eyes, it's even worse when they have their high beams.

this is what's bothered me the most about driving a low car, even if i flick the thing on my rearview mirror, my sides still continue to shit on me, and dimming mirrors were not an option in my car.

It's just bros.

my daily driver is "stanced", I have a street/strip project car and an off-road project car.

Cars can serve all kinds of purposes. Not everything has to be fast, not everything has to look cool, not everything has to be able to go off-road, whatever. that's what multi-car garages are for.

Personally I don't really understand the appeal of taking performance cars and making them stanced, that defeats the point of the car in the first place, but for basically everything else I don't see why not. I'm not gonna go racing in my DD so I have no issue with the fact that it scrapes over speedbumps or rubs sometimes, I think it looks nice.

There's nothing wrong with putting money into a car to make it look good. Spending hours upon hours to tuck wiring harnesses, and paint/chrome an engine bay is an example of good work. Show car scenes are fine. Not my cup of tea, but nothing against it.

The reason why stance car scenes are shit is because they've taken it to an extreme and sacrificed the functionality to a ludicrous extent and made the car unsafe to drive.

I think it looks like shit, personally, but that's just opinion. However, no one can argue the fact that they have made the cars worse overall. The cars can no longer function as a car should.
