i'm trying to get stick shift lesson from whoever on craigslist.
i can't even make this shit up:
I don't drive a stick shift but, if you purchase one, I garentee you, I can give you lessons. I have over 25 year's of driving experience. People won't want you to learn in their vehicle because, you will burn through a clutch/break it, everyone does it. You will probably burn through a set of breaks as well. It's all part of the learning process.
Just go out and purchase an old Toyota truck. It is easy and cheap to purchase a new clutch and breaks for a old Toyota truck.
If you do that, I won't charge you for lessons. When YOU feel confident and comfortable with your driving a stick shift, then you just give me the truck.
It's a win win for the both of us.
Text first please...
Michael *******
>>13832680
>Ok sounds like a plan
>Let me know when you're ready to learn how to drive manual ? Make sure that you have the vehicle properly checked out / checked over, before you purchase it. Make sure everything is on the up and up. You want to make sure that this vehicle is going to last throughout your drivers training. I look forward to your text message or email or phone call.

>>13835662
I really do understand the nostalgia for rotary engines, I do. Which is why I'm sorry to say that's all it will ever be. Yes, you can make decent power, etc. But they are maintenance nightmares and inhetently flawed by design. You could easily drop in a good 4 cylinder with a big turbo, or an LS and be making more power, more reliably, for cheaper.
Rotary engines are awesome. Unique design that brings us back to the quirky innovation of the 90s, when car companies did whatever the fuck they wanted. But their time has passed and anybody who builds one up is doing it for the nostalgia. Which is perfectly fine, but make sure you're okay with doing that before your drop the money on it.

I'm not looking to go fast, my daily has an EJ25, it can go fast if I put money into it. But I'd be buying this for fun. The fun is in building it, not necessarily in the end result
