Depends what you want for your current car. I'm ideally trying to get an economical commuter car for work and a weekend v8 car.

I got a couple of plans.

I want an RX-7 for going fast and a Volvo for DD.

Volvos are fucking reliable.

I was planning my second car before I got my first car.

I started wanting a new car about 20 minutes after leaving the seller's house.

I Have a 540i, F150, 325i Sv650 and Daytona, and thinking about possibly getting a late model RX8, or selling the F150 and getting a bigger truck.

I just got my first car, a WRX, after driving my dad's old 96 Civic Dx for 7 years.

It's very hard to get a job btw. Very competitive field, and even then, if you get a job it's probably gonna be like $100k starting.

Source: I'm an engineer who was previously looking into this field. Also, it's easier to just be an engineer. I got a $120k starting salary + huge signing bonus + huge stocks in the Bay Area with just an undergrad.

Just got a full time job right out of community college, currently saving up for my inevitable return to university hopefully in January. If I wasn't going back to uni, I would be saving up for a car right now.

Slowly become more and more aware over the first winter that when I move back to my hometown I'll have a greater need for space and being able to tow large trailers, and with that I'll pretty much need 4WD and a good ride-height during the winter, hence why I'm considering one of these as my next car in about two years
