Peugeot shitboxes are god tier. Swear to god, the PUG 208's suspension and sound system is miles better than a lot of more expensive cars, such as Honda Fit/Jazz, Fiestas...

We don't get them in the US, but when we did I know their dependability was a joke however they seem to be doing well in Mexico and that market in particular places a lot of stress on long term reliability since Mexicans typically keep their cars much longer than US consumers.

Not Japanese tier, but not too unreliable. The thing is electric problems, french cars tend to have shit electronics and wiring. My friend had a renault with over 85k KM (52k miles), the speedometer didn't work, the headlights were dim, brake lights didn't work sometimes...
