like 3 nights before the update I ran 10 laps around Zandavort in a Bimmer 1M with a grid of 14 cars, collisions seemed normal and rubber banding didn't even seem bad compared to pcars, gse or gt6

A lot of it is just practice. If you have FFB set up, it cues you in a lot as you learn where your grip limits are due to subtle changes in how the wheel itself reacts.

Some if it just gaming the physics themselves and making them work how you want them to work.

Reposting my PSA because the race is in like 2 and a half hours (and without a trip because I know some of you filter me):

I know I'm usually an annoying faggot but this is important. At the very end of the second sector, if you run too wide right were the sector ends, it won't trigger that sector, and that lap won't read when you cross the line. So you'll have to go all the way back around to the end of sector 2 to trigger it, and you would have pretty much done two laps to equal one, which will probably lose you a lot of positions.

So if you get hit out there by someone or just fuck up like I did and do it yourself, don't try to just ride it wide and come back in at the first turn of sector 3, try to make your way back to the track before sector 2 ends. I hope what I'm saying makes sense.
