>pigfat steering wheel that they had to change due to consumer demand
>seats too big, fit for burgerclap asses
>god awful visibility
>small as shit trunk with cargo crushing hinges
The Camaro interior is Fischer Price
lol use the updated interior idiot.
Yurotrash wouldn't know a good interior if they were conceived in one.
Here's a pic of a comfortable car, no you've never been in anything close. You could sit in this car for 10 hours and then have the best sleep of your life in the back.
Keep convincing yourselves you dumb ass europeans know shit about luxury.
I've driven two Bentleys and a Rolls. The Rolls was flawless but the Bentleys sucked dicks.
Can confirm that Dodge and most American cars ARE garbage. That's why they're all hiring Europeans to do their cars now or bringing their European subsidiary fleet here rebadged.
I hate that pale blue accent light shit Chevy is putting in all its interiors.
>steering wheel looks like a Sega Game Gear
>steering wheel looks like a Sega Game Gear
I get what's wrong with the center speedo examples but I see nothing wrong with anything else posted itt
also judging an interior by a picture and not by how it feels is retarded
the camaro's interior is absolutely shit, i can confirm that. everything from door panels, steering wheel, clusters, dash, down to shifter are something you wouldnt expect from one of the biggest car manufactures in the world.
Easy to talk shit.
Post a god tier interior and I'll judge your taste.
>tfw will never get a mint c2 in europe
those seats look pretty uncomfortable. my ass aint flat why is the bottom of the seat?
also the pass has a big 'ol slab of plastic to stare at. not even an emblem or something come on
is this good or bad tier
i think its pretty busy myself
It could be better. At least it doesn't have the stock Fiesta radio with loads of stupid buttons
I'd like it more if the climate control stuff was replaced with ol' fashioned dials, but apparently designers think those are cheap or something
They kinda spill into the seat, so ergonomics is secondary, it just has to be huge and strong.
a sculpted seat will push their fat into uncomfy shapes for them, whereas you and I would enjoy the deat.
I'd use the fiesta >>12388423
as and example of a lovely seat that would be hated by the average lardass.
I know I love my '12 SE Fiesta's seat, and I plan to get a newer ST version once I finish school.
i never understood why car companies do that.
dont they have engineers who could have done that? recaro for the seats, brembo for the brakes, bosch for the abs, why cant they do this all in house? there must be dozens of engineers at ford who can do this
cost or the automaker partnered with recaro/brembo/etc. to integrate those brand name parts into the supply chain for the car.
A lot of components in your care are made by other companies that merely made a deal with the automaker.
in terms of maximizing usable space for as affordable a price as possible the scion XB is the leader in its catagory
bullet proof engine and transmission cheap and easy to fix and insure
tons of storage space
seats 4+ comfortably
gets like 30 mpg
whats not to like?
The real car looks better than the concept, thankfully.
You all lose. The dash on this is about 2.5 feet long, so the windshield is super far from you and the center console is super high.
>air controls all below and unreachable behind the shifter
>pigfat steering wheel
>Analog and digital speedo with priority to the digital in center
>faux lether plastek err wher
The DaimlerChrysler era was a dark age for Chrysler
Every Italian car ever
So fucking tacky
This was the flagship Dodge's interior merely six years ago.
I like this one.
I've also seen people posting some interesting Citroen designs
Biggest improvement award goes too Cadillac CTS
The mustang has come a long way as well in the last 5ish years.
I like how all the gages are all laid out across the dash...even if they don't always work
As technology is getting more and more sophisticated, R&D costs rise dramatically. R&D'ing everything in-house guarantees that not only will your car never be finished, it'll also cost a metric arseload of money and will be behind the competition who simply bought from specialists
Lamborghini LM002. My boss owned one I would have to drive out of the shop daily. Absolutely hideous, however I didn't at all mind revving the hell out of the countach engine they decided would be a good idea to throw into it.
Being a race car does not excuse such shitty interior.
And the vector prototype interior was just laughable.
>Speedometer not behind the wheel
Why do designers still do this
Does anyone here own a pagani zonda? because they might not like this...
I like my FiST's interior. I'm not big on it in Molten Orange though, the car itself looks great but the bright red seats are ridiculous. Also what's with the pad thing at the bottom of the wheel, mine doesn't have that.
This one's gonna piss a lot of people off, but I own one and don't like it much. Looks great, but not very nice to live with.
Recaro actually makes a ton of OE seats, and often ones that have been extra-cost options, but it's only recently been in vogue to badge them as such in the US. (Japan's been doing it forever and it was big back on '80s German cars though.)
It was probably this prerpoduction model
They changed the headlights too
Premium my ass
>dat german engineered plastic
To clear this up
what's wrong with VAG? even volkswagen has decent quality. quiet, too.
It has everything a car has, but somehow it lacks everything
>2010 Town Car
God tier interior incoming just so you get an idea of what a truly great (read: non-american) interior looks like
Not fake. Ergonomics are perfect and the truly special thing about Audi interiors is that they easily are class-leaders when it comes to fit and finish and build quality.
You can say what you want about Audi and you can hate all you want but not even the greatest hater can ignore how fucking flawless Audi interiors are
My mother is driving a 2004 A4. The paint on a lot of buttons has chipped off and the interior design is functional but also very boring looking.
Why not have something like pic related when it comes to interior in German cars?
Tbh, I don't like the modern Mercedes interiors not much... way too busy:
- faux leather applications (nice)
- brushed aluminum trim piece (nice, too)
- big glossy flat surfaces - EVEN on the place you lay your hand on (shit, that's a total dust and fingerprint collector)
Also not a big fan of the spare LCDs in the middle of the dash, they always look somewhat nigger rigged.
What happed to pic related?
You're going a little too far backwards for my taste.
>dat dank cloth pattern
My mom has had one since i can remember
I learned to drive in that car and it never dies
I love Mercedes interiors from the 80s/90s
the 190E in particular, it's just
>official Mercedes of negroids and women
My 2015 Fit's interior is shit, but with one redeeming quality.
>cup holder on the left of the steering wheel
>thank you Japan
The special needs girl that works in my bakery drives one of them too, she says it needs a moonroof
Decent quality? Maybe when it's new, it starts to creak and squeak very soon. Wear is visible as well. That edge left from the heating/AC knob will keep crushing your knee unless your height is below-average or unless you're a woman. Steering wheel controls tend to be absolute garbage in real world use. Random parts just feel like they were taken from some Chinese shitbox. Same with the design of button layout. Is that a Polo?
You mean late 70's. the 80's was when they were at their most creative.
>ctrl + f
i'm disappointed, /o/
I like mine, it's all soft touch. Even the black bits that look like plastic are rubbery, except for the center where the nav system is. And there's like, a carpet type thing that goes up the side of the center console, which i really like. Even around the doors it's all padded with material, instead of plastic.
So many people on here hate it, but it's my favorite place to be.
Sure the plastic is shitty, but the design is brilliant.
I drove one for the first time yesterday. Worst car I have ever driven. And the ugliest interior I have ever sat in.
Question for the Minifags here, if you get the Mini with the optional speedo behind the steering wheel, do you still get the little screen with the digital speedo? Because that would make the Mini the first car in the world to come with 3 speedos...
SSC Ultimate Aero.
>dem Ford Focus headlights.
My gf has the 06 Yaris BASE
It... It struggles. With everything. In her defense she got it for free from her dad when he switched jobs and just didn't need a commuter car anymore. She'd be stupid to say no to a free car with only 60k, even if it is a death trap shitbox
My friend's girlfriend has a Yaris, that looks similar, only the speedo is kinda deep inside the dash behind some lens, so it looks "cool" for the driver and nobody else in the car can see it.
Friend says it's the best speedo, because nobody can tell he drives like the retard he is.
At least use a studio photo for the 2005-2009.
I like the round vents.
I heard someone close the door on a newer Town Car the other day and it sounded like the door closing sound effect on the Oceanic from GTA Vice City.
That would explain this...
Every button that lights up in my car is the same color as the gauge lights. I do know some of the newer Fords have white lettering for the gauges though.
>WHAT THE FUCK EVEN IS THIS CAR
