>Harrisonburg officials and the FBI are investigating allegations of voter registration fraud after officials say almost 20 voter applications were turned in under the names of dead people.

What a ridiculous story over nothing. It's up to each county in every state to screen out fraudulent voter registrations. It's obvious that this story is being used by those who claim voter IDs are necessary, when in reality you shouldn't be able to register to vote at all without the State & County you are in checking that you are who you say you are. Stop pretending like there have been more than 30 cases of voter fraud in the last 20 years and that voting fraud in the US is rampant.

do they? i'm not from America

It shouldn't ever get up to that point. The person would never get their registration because they aren't a citizen. You can't even go near the booths without being registered.

I'm sure you have no problem with non-citizens voting in US elections, and your problem with voter ID is more informed by your wish to allow said people to vote than it is by any pragmatic argument about accessibility or how small the problem is.
The validation for whether someone is a citizen or not when registering to vote is based on the honor system. They literally ask you, "are you a US citizen?" It's unsurprising that people lie.

estimated 6.4% of non-citizens vote illegally in US elections
The only reason to argue against voter ID is because it would hinder non-citizens from voting. Googles can easily obtain free identification.

First of all, the paper is hosted on judicialwatch, which should tell a person all they need to know.

Here it is in WND "news" format from 2014:

Second, it's authored by an anti globalist university professor, a graduate student from pakistan, and the third is a climate change activist.

All three are frequently cited as anti voting rights activists on this subject whenever anyone wants to "prove" there are illegals voting in American elections.

Yeah they have access to lots of records if you have ever interacted with the state gov. It's pretty easy to identify suspects.
