Doesn't think said rulings are valid and would never follow them) But in this case if our courts said they should pay the victims and Saudi refuses they know that could start a war ( It most likely wont but fear is sometimes more effective than facts) And beyond that even if the U.S doesn't back their citizens ( I'm not sure if they would or not in this case) Just the Reputation alone of ignoring this would hurt a lot possibly damaging trade relations since countrys/commpanys might think that any business contract that is broken will not be able to be used effectively to downsize losses which is a scary thing for people who love money. "Threat" of force is as far as we'd be able to go. The Saudis would call our bluff immediately and we'd have no other reasonable option than to just say, "yeah alright, you got us". They know as well as anyone that nobody would benefit from a US-Saudi war.

At best, we might be able to impose sanctions on them, but that would also be pretty stupid. As surprisingly noble as this bill is, America's tongue is too deep in the Saudi family's asshole to persecute them.

If this bill were to pass and that's a massive if, and a group were to successfully sue the Saudis. My best guess the U.S government would do a freeze'n sieze. They would freeze and control all Saudi government bank accounts in America as well as bonds, gold and such. And seize all Saudi owned property such as buildings, racehorses,casinos,sports francises. Then liquidate it all and give it to the victims. To be honest though this would get pretty ugly and would be a political armaghedon.
