A couple years back I saw a guy in the store buying a porno mag, visibly embarrassed to present it to the cashier and people in the line. Poor fellow.
As kids in the early 90's we never had to steal porno mags they would just appear like magic. One day walk through a lane way, nothing. Go down the same lane way the next day, there would be a stack next to a garage. If you were lucky maybe a VHS tape or two, and in rare cases Polaroids of some guys wife/girlfriend.
Then the local kids would trade mags from other kids like they were sharing video games or trading sports cards. It was almost like an economy.
