1. Almost every country uses drugs to enhance his athletes. The best one in that is the US, the second one is Russia. Its a joke, that the world put on a show for Russia. Its pure politics. They could have gotten red handed the Germans, British, French etc. In Europe there are show trials for Russians, which is absolutely true. I'm not a fan of Russia, but this is ridiculous. Not a single US soldier is in the news. Not a single US diplomat makes mistakes. Not a single US citizen is a killer, rapist, thief, scoundrel in foreign countries. Eight out of ten times they are Russian. Is it true? Hell no. The only difference is, that the US ones can't really be reported, because the US is an ally in the NATO.
2. The invasion of Crimea was only partially illegal. Ukraine is saying it belongs to them. I think it belongs to the Crimean Tartars, but nobody is asking them. The Ukrainian news are waging a propaganda war and the NATO backs it. The problem with the people is, that they usually see only one side. "Russia is aggressive, Russia is bad bohoo". Just think about the strategic situation. After the fall of the Soviet Union the US agreed to not enlarge the NATO (it didn't really have an enemy that time.) This was not the case. First they assimilated almost all the former Warsaw Pact allies, than they started to add countries one by one. In the late '90s Russia started to grow again in power, which THEY started to see aggression. On of the most valuable strategic partner of Russia was Ukraine. Russia stated multiple times, that Ukraine will be the final straw. If Ukraine is added to the NATO, than that will be the end of talking. This statement was written at least a thousand times. Now what happened? A pro-NATO coup was launched, which was practically a declaration of war against Russia. (We should cut the crap about the people favoring the new regime. They are worthless scumbags one inch away from a new coup.) So Russia started a covert war by taking Crimea.
Remember, that the Russian Black Sea Navy was based in Sevastopol and it was an important military point for them, which was buttfucked by the pro-NATO regime.
The second was Donbass. The Russians sent arms and material there to rally the pro-Russian people. Ukraine has practically abandoned Russia, and Russia needed to act. People are saying what an asshole Russia is for sending men and material, but they don't care, that the NATO did the same. Why is that not important? The US sent volunteers, trainers, weapons, along with UK armored vehicles, French guns etc. Even small partners like Hungary have sent dozens of T-72 tanks to Ukraine for a ridicolous amount of money. Around 2 million Forint per tank. (Yeah I'm Hungarian.) So Russia can't support the separatist, but the NATO can? Ukraine is not a NATO member, so how it is a legal matter.
Today it is a different war. Not hot, not cold, more like a covert, and propaganda war. Not nearly similar to the cold war, because even the countries themselves don't know that they are at war.
Russia is not a young innocent girl, but the US and Europe is not that either. People should see both sides.

Both the West and Russia have done the same thing in Ukraine: sent arms or diplomats to try and control Ukraine's allegiance.
Russia probably has the legitimate claim that the West started it, and if the West is allowed to go into Ukraine, so is he.

Most everyone in Eastern Ukraine. Plenty speak Ukrainian, but that's over in the western side of the country, where the fighting isn't.
