"Hillary Clinton touts her tenure as secretary of state as a time of hardheaded realism and “commercial diplomacy” that advanced American national and commercial interests. But her handling of a major technology transfer initiative at the heart of Washington’s effort to “reset” relations with Russia raises serious questions about her record. Far from enhancing American national interests, Mrs. Clinton’s efforts in this area may have substantially undermined U.S. national security."

I forgot which paper said it, but they said something like, "These candidates are terrible. No one else has the ability to lose to either of them."
I don't understand why the dems leaders said, "Man she has such a long history in politics. Everyone is going to be so impressed with her experience." When the reality is, "Man, this lady has a long ass history and there are going to lots of skeletons in her closet and stories that can be framed as terrible even if they aren't."
I remember reading about this place when Medvedev was trying to garner support, but it fell off the radar quickly, because it was a failure and "New Moscow" is nothing more than fancy but empty corporate buildings. (Who would have guessed the corruption and authoritarian bureaucracy of the Russian system would scare business off?)
It will be interesting how this turns out. It looks really bad for her, especially with the recent anti-russia remarks. However, considering Putin seemed dismissive of the whole thing during Medvedev's presidency and blocked him from integrating from the west, Clinton is probably going to say, "look, this wasn't putin we were dealing with. We were trying to bring Russia out of the cold war mentality, but it didn't work. So we stopped supporting this and we've stood up to him with sanctions (the same way Bush stood up to him). Not to mention, a lot of Medvedev's the moderate guys we worked with were shit canned by putin as this venture was falling apart."
Either way, what a disaster. She looks like shit.

Remember, the alternative was a guy that had literally joined the party last year, just to run.
