Most people hate most people.
It would be really nice, but it is impossible.
Some countries had a unification, and the reasons were: Similar language and culture
But even with a similar language and culture, some countries break up into lots of tiny countries (Yugoslavia)
Well, they both share a major religion; Islam. So I guess it could work, if putting Muslims together didn´t always start a war.
Allahu Akbar!
The U.S. must take Monroe Doctrine now.
The U.S. must withdraw American Forces from all Foreign Countries now.
I love American99% and the U.S.
Japan, Germany and China are evil empires.

I'm not sure why it couldn't be called the [government type] of Francia and the Rheinland. FraGer seems to imply that they don't care which country comes first in the title.
If they want to join together then more power to them, but I hope they at least consider the host of problems it might cause. Those 2 joining up might make the EU redundant as well.

France is in no position for any sort of union with another country let alone Germany. French will likely destroy what's left of their socialist party with Hollande and LaPen and (((right wing))) will take over. The cucks at Brussels I'm sure would love everyone to tow the line while they consolidate all industry in Germany and France just has some restaurants. No clue what they plan to do with all the other countries besides rape them further. Beachfront?

You certainly do have a contentious people, Willie.

Oh really, Niles.
>Germany still wants more space for the Fatherland.

You just made an enemy for life!
It could happen.
A united continent has been a vision throughout and sometimes a reality within history.
I think the UK still has a strong, romantic, mythical sense of being a Shire in a world potentially of Mordor. I couldn't imagine supporting Remain as I'd see it as signing the ownership of that Shire away to the people who had once been Mordor.
I don't think there is an equivalent to this on the continent, other than for Russia, where the sense of being isolated against potential enemies must be even stronger, though they have no claim to the Shire imagery.

Quebec>France
Even the people from Quebec think the french are pretentious. I suspect the Francophone African countries feel the same.

It's ridiculous -- history has shown peace in Europe is a fantasy unless something like the EU can be maintained. We simply must have a united Europe under strong German leadership.
>>>/wsg/1173942
A European Empire.... Is it possible? In this day and age?
>>54083
Germany and France will be united by Islam. Not even meming. Give it 2 decades.
Asked Danish friend about unified Europe. She yelled at me and said I was ignoring thousands of years of culture. And I'm guessing that's a common viewpoint. So no.
They had this before, it was called the Carolingian empire. It worked fine until Charlemagne stupidly divided his realms among his kids.
