A car heist gone awry.
A would-be carjacker in Kent, Wash. was served up a little asphalt-heavy justice late last week, as he was dragged by the driver of a vehicle.
Twitter users @Sahrmoiwo1 and @SukkChahal captured the bizarre scene, which took place near an elementary school, local news station KIRO 7 reports.
When the SUV comes into the frame, the man is being dragged with his hands stuck in the door handle. As the vehicle comes to a stop, the man gets up — with a visibly road-burned backside — and attempts to get into the vehicle.
The driver quickly speeds off, pulling the would-be-thief once more, after he tries to keep up on his feet for a couple of strides.
The video ends as the vehicle comes to a stop, and another vehicle incidentally blocks the camera angle the Twitter users had.
Kent police told KIRO 7 that the man dragged through the streets was the suspect in several attempted carjackings and was arrested.
He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
There were also other victims with minor injuries in the melee. Police told KIRO 7 that the suspect allegedly attacked them.
The man also allegedly punched other vehicles and attempted to break door handles.
The case is under investigation.
